So that new fandom for a show I don't even watch? Stargate: Atlantis. Yup. My dad used to watch SG-1 religiously so I know the basic premise, but I actually literally have not seen a single Atlantis episode ever in my life. I blame this ENTIRELY on that fact that a ridiculous number of the most awesome authors in SPN and Smallville fandom (another show I coincidentally never watched but got sucked into fandom DEAR GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME) also write really amazing SGA fics.

The reason for making this post is that I looked at this icon and thought: "Dude! Stargate: Good Omens crossover time!" and then realised that I have set this year off to a good start by going COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY INSANE. MAD I TELL YOU, MAAAAAAAAAD.

Dude, where's my brain?

A meme from [livejournal.com profile] annella: One little compliment can make you feel amazing. So give me a compliment, anything in the entire world, even that my shoelaces are pretty. Put this in your journal. And once you get some comments, put that entry in a memory or tag and when you are feeling down, just go to that entry and this will remind how great you are.

Then you've already wasted quite a lot of time on it, haven't you?

No, see this now has nothing to do with the game itself, it's only the game that isn't worth commenting on.

You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel here :P

You must really miss me!

Not really, it's part of my 101 in 1001 days, learning to argue while keeping calm, doesn't matter where the argument goes really.

Fair enough. Two thoughts:
1) You will eventually have to step up to arguments that you actually care about to some degree, maybe you should make a graph or something so you don't accidentally leap into the deep end right away.
2) Do we need to take shifts as your opponents? I can't handle that much petty bickering!

1. I have no idea what you're actually saying
2. That's basically all I did when I was at school with you anyway, besides, Diana's language when she argues gets grating after a while.

1. You want to gradually acclimatise yourself to less petty arguments, yes? So maybe you should work out where everything you're likely to argue about falls on the emotional/significance scale so you can tackle them in order.

2. Join an online messageboard, then, they're easy. Especially fanboys and anarchists.

1. Putting them in order sounds really lame, I'm only interested in the arguing ^-^

2. See, doing that would give me the opposite problem to diana, I really don't view arguing with knobs as valid

3. fuck almighty, this is getting hard to read

3. ROFL it is. Good thing I'm doing this in gmail!

2. But it's so much fun! Okay, skip the fanboys then, try some political boards. Liberal ones! You're bound to find some unknobby folks there!

1. Fair enough :P what a hobby.

Ugh, political arguments are so dry, I don't know enough about them because I really don't care, I'd get into some religious ones, but I really don't want to get told I'm going to be smote by baby jesus

Hee, smote. Nah, that's like Godwin's law - the minute you get threatened with wrath'o'god the argument is immediately rendered absurd and you may invoke the Flying Spaghetti Monster willy-nilly.

So true, so true, I find that the flying teapot is in some ways better, largely because it is less well known

I reckon we should come up with our own creation, that'd be cool

Kinda redundant. Unless it's embodying a unique concept there's no point not using the ones we've already got.

True, but no one could immediately rebutt it, they'd have to know what it was about first, besides the teapot and the unicorn are much the same

But you end up explaining it anyway if you're using it rhetorically, and if you're just being flippant nothing beats the FSM for class and sheer absurdity.
