I have achieved pancakes! Yes, that's right, through perseverence, trial and error, mad l33t cooking skillz and repressed childhood memories I made pancakes out of random things I found in my kitchen, completely at random at four pm. And also fairybread. Having rediscovered the well-known fact that pancake mix is in fact better than actual pancakes, I left those for my parents.

How do you like your pancakes?

Things Maggie Learned Today:

1. Pancake mix has a lot more milk than omelette mix.

2. You need vinegar. NOT THAT MUCH VINEGAR.

3. Sifting things is fun.

4. Sprinkles have enough static charge to stick to plastic spoons.

5. Accidentaly turning on the wrong stove burner under the plate full of pancakes is easier than you'd think.

6. I think it's possible to glaze a pancake.

7. You can't pour sprinkles without pinging random lone explorers all over the place.

8. When you try to mop up spilled sprinkles with a piece of buttered bread, you end up with butter on your benchtop.

9. I seem to have caught the List Making Journal Entry Style from my lj-stalkees.

10. I should have bothered to get a bunch of people together and beg for a food tech class for next year, because it's SO MUCH FUN.

Today Maggie made:
Pancakes
Fairy Bread
A mess of the kitchen
Me hungry
