Well, The Sneeze in general is awesome, but this is just... ... ... O_o
Today in Year Meetings we got chewed out about uniforms. Henrietta got told off for wearing beads, and much general OMGNOES was ranted about the way people sluttify their uniform, by rolling their skirts and sleeves and leaving buttons undone.
Honestly, this rather confuses me. It's like people have to go "OMG our uniform is SO ugly but *I'm* SMEXAY because my bra strap is showing!!1eleven".
Ms Young specifically commented on skirts so short she can see peoples underwear when they're walking up the stairs. I imagine they didn't give this speech to the juniors, because exactly HOW would you roll a tunic? You can up the hem, but you can't leave the house as a nice little schoolgirl and then halfway to school undo the button, roll it down to the botton of the zip and think "Suckers!"
When Ms Masehldani told us to button up our shirts, because people could see our bras, I said "They can see them anyway - the schoolshirts are SEE THROUGH." Everyone either laughed or went "Yeah!" Because... well, they are, sadly. I don't care what they say about white bras, your SKIN is not white and therefore your bra stands out. We don't even NEED wet Tshirt days.
As for the sleeves - well, I've no idea. Exactly what is the purpose of showing one or two centimetres more of your *arm*? And, on the flipside, exactly what is WRONG with it? OMG ITS A SHOULDER THATS INDECENT!1!!1!
I'm actually kind of surprised that somebody bothered to call in and complain. As if you would? You're on a bus and a schoolgirl crosses her legs, and you see her underwear. You might think "Ew, gross" or "Slut" "Damn kids these days" or "Oooh, pink hearts" but you're not going to think "This is an outrage and a menace to society! I must immediately find out the email of the principal and send her a stern warning!" Actually these people probably keep a list of the emails/numbers of all the school principals in a little scrapbook beside pictures of that school's uniform. So when they see a girl doing something wrong they whip it out, flip through to a picture that matches, and then pull out their mobile and call Ms Varady to complain. It might cause some speculation if somebody found the book in their bag and went "Er... you're into schoolgirls, then?"

I think people have too much time on their hands. I bet its stupid old ladies who had to wear gloves and stockings all wear round when they went to school and still think it is indecent to show your ankles =P

that was classic. especially cause SHE wears god knows what.
