Saw Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy on Saturday. It rocked muchly. Met Avi at Randwick beforehand, I bought my dad a birthday present and he bought me a chicken. I kid you not. It is on of those little t3h cute pipecleaner yellow thingies. There was a whole box of them labelled ten cents each, and Avi was like "Heh, ten cent chickens. Here, have one." It's right here by my computer. I had to glue it's beak back on cos it came off :P but it's so small and cute.

Then we played pool for a while. I came up with the theory that girls have an advantage in this game because we can steady the cue with our breasts. This has since been corroborated by my guitar teacher, who adds that they are also useful to distract the male players from their game. On Stan's advice I have amended the first word from "Girls" to "girls who aren't freaks of nature/science".

Anyway, after hanging out in a park for a while we met everyone else (including a huuge batch of Jess's habo people) and went into the movie WHICH ROCKED SO MUCH. (skip this paragraph if you haven't seen the movie and intend to). Marvin looked kind of Apple, but he had some great lines. POV gun = gold. The beginning would have been better if I hadn't eread the books, since it's pretty much verbatim, but as soon as Ford showed up with his trolleyfull of beercans it took off (literally). The vogons reminded me of nothing so much as my grandfather TO THE EXTREEME. Oh and I loved the Noideas Paddles SO MUCH. A funny thing is that Zaphods resemblance to George Bush was particularly strong in his "Ah think-" just before getting slapped -

So now I want to see George Bush getting smacked in the face by a paddle.

Today was the cross-country, which I categorically refused to participate in. I went to the library at recess to fetch a book to read only to find that I have two overdues. Except, hang on, one of them was on the shelf. Okay, someone scanned it wrong, fine - but the other one wasn't. The librarian suggested I chekc my locker.

I check my locker.

I turn up the following: ONE pencilcase, THREE hairbrushes, ONE pile of year seven homework, TWO hats, ONE humongous thick jacket, ONE recorder, and ZERO library books.

So anyway, I got the librarian to let me off, because I'm good at that (what can I say, librarians love me :3) and went to C2 cos C1 was locked. I sat down next to Alisa and pulled out my Olivie because I was hungry. This was when I realised that I have no spoon. So I went to the canteen and fetched a spoon. By the time all this tooing and froing was done with, the bell had rung, so I had to eat my food in the non-competitors classroom while Sarita did her maths homework and rowing people bitched about Nicky.
