Crosspost testing!

Hey everybody, if I've done everything right this entry is currently visible on dreamwidth AND livejournal! Woo, exciting. Now, I've mostly resigned myself to having two separate flists at least for now, so I went off and added a bunch of feeds and stuff over here. Then I checked out my friends page and promptly told lifehacker feed to GTFO because it posts entirely too often and clutters everything up with like... polls about banning comic sans or something, WHATEVS.

Now to add everyone who's moving to dreamwidth! This could be problematic in that I don't want to read the same entry twice, so if somebody's going to be cross-posting I'm going to have to pick one. Now if somebody's going to crosspost SOMETIMES and other times post lj-specific or dw-specific stuff, then I'm sort of fucked :P

...ah, shit, now I'm going to have to sync up my icon tags, aren't I?

okay, let's see if i can be concise:

1. i'm moving permanently to DW.
2. i will not be crossposting.
3. i will be checking my LJ flist until they enable me to read all my friends from over there (or in the unlikely event that everyone important to me moves entirely.)

my internet is balls right now and adding/deadding seems like too many pages to load, but i am probably going to remove you from my lj flist and readd you over there, if you'll be crossposting - since i too don't want to see duplicate entries. feel free to remove me here, too; i will be posting a couple more entries, but mostly only about dreamwidth (FAQing, explaining, etc) rather than anything of any substance. you can track my "posts about dreamwidth" tag if you're really desperate. ;) but otherwise, this lj is pretty much commenting-only.
