Ahaha I totally meant to update... somewhat earlier. Anyway, as some of you may have noticed, the 27th was Rabbit Hole Day. Turns out there's an LJ community! rabbitholeday, who'd have thought.

In any case, What I Did On Tuesday did not in fact involve cyborgs in any way, shape or form, although i did end up looking a little like a cyborg. That's right, it was Liza's Epic Makeover day.

As part of my job-hunting efforts I have returned to the idea of getting some work as an extra. However people keep asking me for vaguely professional looking photos! The horror! So naturally I turned to the talented scrabbit for a set of pics that were not obviously taken in somebody's living room while I was drunk.

Possibly I should have paid more attention to the look on her face at that point.

So I arrived with a set of outfits augmented by my recent a) second-hand shopping spree and b) massive rummage through my wardrobe resulting in a bed covered in clothing, much of which I had forgotten I owned. Also some jewellery and make-up, although the latter was mostly rejected by Liza, who waved some q-tips and an eyeliner pencil in my general direction and dumped me into a large red armchair, which momentarily appeared to me as a giant foreboding metal contraption covered in straps and protruding wires. She pursed her lips, poked my hair and said "No. Go and wet this, first." I raised an eyebrow. "Go!" she ordered. "The bathroom is that way! Who's an oochie coochie then!" although thankfully I gathered that the last bit was directed at her giant cat, who was acting as minion/mascot for the shoot. I went and got my hair wet.




After poking, prodding and dumping half a ton of product into my hair at various points during the photoshoot, she finally decided to straighten it after all, so for the last two days I have been walking around with straight hair and let me tell you it feels very odd. However, several good shots came out of it, so I am happy!

Anyway, there is moar to tell about the past few days but I really need to go to sleep now as I'm heading up to Foster with Nicky tomorrow, and I should really be up by ten thirty at the latest. So I'll see you guys on like... Wednesday or something, idk.

I still maintain that you don't necessarily need a makeover, but that said, that's a series of pretty nice pics she managed to squeeze out of you. Very different from your usual flair, and yet still unmistakably you.
