Wow, okay, so uni killed me dead for a couple of weeks there. But now - glorious glorious holidays!

Who wants to come to the Mountain Goats concert with me in December? Seriously, last.fm said I listened to Lovecraft in Brooklyn 89 times last week for the essay, and I don't even press skip when it comes up on my playlist. That is something right there. Mountain Goats! Yay!

Also I am inexplicably getting really enthusiastic about The Used. I always thought they would be too screamy for me, but apparently not! I am listening to Sound Effects on repeat! What the hell!

Admittedly I still crack up laughing whenever Bert McCracken says something like "you're my girl." Seriously. It is not even because of all the slashy fanfiction, it just plain sounds ridiculous.

God, I have so much to catch up on. Do you know how many projects and games and plans I abandoned for my unnecessarily lengthy depressive uni-procrastination funk? SO MANY. SOOOOO MANY.

I seriously don't even know what to hit first. Okay, first I gotta call the dentist and see about these damn wisdom teeth. Then I have to clean up my desk so my mum gets off my back, and so my dad stops refusing to buy me a computer even though I have finally earned enough money to pay for half of it because there is nowhere to put it, and also so that I can like find things.

THEN. Then I must choose which fanfic to dust off first, and call Lily about doing band things, and write write write write and PANCAKES and write and badger everyone who blew me off for lunch on account of horrific med exams YES MELISSA THIS MEANS YOU and write and catch up on Burn Notice and Torchwood and get a job and WRIIIIIIIIIITE.

I'm pretty sure Poppy Shannon etc. are going to that Mountain Goats concert, you could ask them? I don't really talk to them anymore, so I'm not sure.
I've already seen them, they were really good.

Pretty much no one, to be honest. I see Minnie and Poppy in classes sometimes. I see Shannon and Katie occasionally. Katie and I used to get coffee every few weeks, but she was really rude to me once so we don't anymore.
I'm a bit too good at isolating myself now that I don't have to see anyone. Plus we have nothing in common anymore.
Do you see many people from good old school?

Hmm I don't see people that often. I talk to Nicky on msn and we meet up on occasion... Mel and Diana both sort of got eaten by schoolwork so I haven't seen much of them. I run into Henrietta on occasion, but we weren't really friends, so. Oh, and I saw a bit of Beth at the start of the year, but then we both made friends in our actual courses, or... something, idk.

Yeah, the lack of proximity is a bit, you know... I sort of miss everyone I used to chat with in classes or the common room that I wasn't close enough with to say "hey let's do lunch."

Yeah I see people around, but I kinda have no desire to talk to most people from school.
That was why the common room was so good, it was so easy to just have a chat with people without having to bother with all the planning and fussing.
