Okay that is a lie I have put aside a few fics for later. But I have vanquished a GOODLY PORTION OF MY FLIST, YARR. I know, I'm late for talk like a pirate day. I had to get a yarr in anyway. This is pretty awesome.

So now I have a two week break! Ahhh I shall do so much! (ha, no, really. well, I hope.) I shall write! I shall catch up on things and not be behind when semester restarts! I shall play SO MUCH GUITAR OMGGGG.

I somehow cannot contemplate a non-faily MCR crew of ANYTHING, alas.

Anyway, The Black Parade is a little too showy for a pirate vessel. Quartermaster Brian keeps trying to point out, they are supposed to be stealthy. STEALTHY. Black and red stands out a little against blue skies. and white clouds. And. you know, whose idea were the shiny white portholes anyway?

Bob just shrugs and keeps manning the rudder. Oh, how he mans it. It is generally agreed that nobody mans the rudder as manfully as Bob, certainly not Matt who. Umm. I can't decide what I would do with Matt. It seems cruel to push him off the side. Perhaps they all got drunk in port one night and he maybe sort of accidentally wandered into the wrong room at the inn. The one which contained an irate British Air-Navy captain (perhaps Gabe) who promptly arrested him as the others made their getaway. Gerard felt terribly guilty. But that might have been the hangover.

Gerard flails his arms about and tries to order Ray to pull Frankie off the rigging oh my god he is going to PLUMMET TO THE GROUND. PLUMMET. GET DOWN OFF THERE. Meanwhile Frank is all "look ma no hands!" and scurrying about like a monkey fixing knots and checking the balloon for leaks. In his spare time he practices swashbuckling. That lad sure can buckle a swash. Out of kindness nobody mentions his very first attempt, with a sword that was possibly actually longer than his arms. He nearly took a toe off.

Mikey is the navigator. This is because Gerard decided to become a pirate captain with Ray as his first mate and said "okay, we need a navigator" so Mikey shrugged and decided to learn to navigate. Needless to say they have a slight tendency to end up in entirely the wrong place.

Hum. There are ~encounters with Captain Saporta and his crew, which they always escape from by the skin of their teeth. Also I think Geoff Rickley is a mad scientist who occasionally loans them hilarious contraptions that only sometimes explode.

Oh, oh. and they capture a couple of Fair Maidens once but have no idea what to do with them. Gerard is all *handsflail* now what? Should we hold them for ransom? I'm pretty sure one or both of them are sleeping with Captain Saporta!

and William is like "damn right. He'll totally get you for this." (in an Elizabeth Turner kind of way) while Vicky T quietly saws through her ropes with her pocket knife.
