Duran Duran is on TV and the singer is wearing an incredibly shiny shirt. It's like black vinyl or something, oh my god.

Dad: Oh, Duran Duran. They were common back in my day.
Me: They don't look that old.
Dad: ...
Me: UM I MEAN.
Dad: So anyway there's a bit of a comeback epidemic on at the moment...

Also I wrote things! Not very much but hey. A couple of paragraphs and some commentfic is not nothing. And I went for a walk in the rain and borrowed Alex's music textbook, which isn't exactly For Beginners but when have I not jumped into things feet first? It's not like I'm going to have to do exams on it.

I don't know if I've linked to Rob Newman here but y'all should watch that, he's pretty damn good.

He always used words like 'hierarchical' and bicycles. Well, he used to use a unicycle but that's possibly even cooler. And a skateboard with a little engine on it.

He was the FIRST comedy rock star. First comedian to play Wembley, as part of Newman & Baddiel, who first came to public attention in The Mary Whitehouse Experience, along with Punt & Dennis.

And he created Jarvis, who is the BEST creepy pervy character ever.

And the history professors.

Oh, man, I need to go home and watch all my Newman & Baddiel videos now.
