A meme via [livejournal.com profile] annella: I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. (some I probably know too well, hahaha. but trust me-- I never met a cut tag labelled "tmi" that I didn't click INSTANTLY.) I read your journals, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But no matter what, I love that you give a damn enough to stop by my place.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself? Any old thing at all, the more trivial and fascinating, the better. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they enjoy nose-picking on balmy summer evenings, and have a giant birthmark shaped like a wilderbeest on their right buttock." (hey, I told you I loved those tmi cut-tags.)

I'd love it if every single person on my friends list would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear.

I set the clocks in my bedroom twenty minutes ahead of time. No reason, I don't have to get up in the morning or anything, I just like it. In fact, now I've thought about it, every clock in my house is set to a slightly different time to the others.

I also constructed that sentence very badly.

That's actually kind of cool. I mean, it would be cooler if your house was TOTALLY FULL OF CLOCKS and none of them kept the same time :P but as you are neither fictional nor CRAZY that's okay.

Oh no, there are only five, no six.

The only reason my house isn't totally full of clocks is lack of money. When I am rich I shall have a clock room full of clocks set to different times.

And a herd of fainting goats.

And a Norwegian Forest cat.

And a tower.

And an English Bull terrier for Miss_Dark.

And some other stuff that I'll think of later.

Let's see... in my mostly misguided rural childhood I was part of the 4H Sheep Club, and pumpkins have always kind of scared me (bizarre and embarrassing, I know).

Hmmm. I really like foreign languages and both my parents are bilingual. I also rarely met a TMI cut that I didn't click. *g*

I have to use lotion on my hands before writing with pen and paper because if my skin is the least bit dry (and it usually is) the feel of dry skin sliding on the paper gives me the heebies.

I enjoy meeting people who are identical to various stereotypes, I'm addicted to natural confectionary company lollies, and I have the same mobile phone I got in yr 7 still.

I'm secretly afraid of dogs.

I like sleeping, however little of it I do.

I'm allergic to garlic, but only if it gets on my hands, not if I eat it. Apparently. o.O

I view tea as one of the constant pleasures of life that will never go away no matter how nasty everything else becomes.

Dammit, this is hard. Six years together, and now I have to give you one fact that you would possibly remember me by when you run off to Queensland! *weeps*

Anyway, speaking of birthmarks, have I ever told you about mine? It's in the form of a bruise in the small of my back. I'll show it to you next time if you want. ;)
