Dec. 14th, 2007 06:43 pmI have another 25 minutes booked on the library computers. Also, the first two volumes of No Man's Lnd, because Bowen has finally improved its "graphic novels" section. I'm up to the 7th on my flist, dear god skip=260! And hey, while I'm here, a few bits and bobs.
I saw Beowulf with Nicky on Tuesday. I don't think you really can spoil the plot of an umpteen hudnred year old epic poem but I won't anyway. I just wanted to say, the internet was COMPLETELY JUSTIFIED in giggling over the nude scenes, conveniently punctuated for your PG convenience by tables, curtains, helmets, large boulders and on one memorable occasion a huge sword stuck into a table. It's not all that subtle, people! It was fun, though.
Also, I have recieved a check and T shirt from Necrotic Tissue in return for my funny little Frankenstein story. The shirt has
"pub
lish
ed"
written on the seeve, and is proof of the deceptive nature of the concept of "small" in America. Maybe it'll shrink in the wash?
