May. 25th, 2007 06:38 pmThere are little bits of paper lying all over my house labelled "Notes From Dad" with a kitschy puppy on them. Generally they contain notes from mum, because my dad doesn't leave notes and there's no sense in wasting paper, eh?
I still haven't posted my photos from the Discworld Convention, what with the computer issues and my general procrastination and all. In fact, rather shamefully, the con guys have managed to put up the Run Rincewind Run short film from the opening ceremony (don't worry about the second-hand footage at the start, it goes to normal soon enough) before I got nsome stupid phone-camera photos online.
I am ashamed of myself. Also amused at the video, wish I hadn't missed the opening ceremony. So much went wrong with that trip. And now I have to consider whether or not to apply to VCA, which is apparently a great drama school (melbourne is generally better for theatre than sydney) but... urgh, melbourne. I don't know if I could stand the winters. And I don't really want to leave Sydney so soon, I think it would add too much stress to the whole transition to uni, not to mention having to leave all my friends behind. Likewise for WAAAAAPA, which is in oh god Perth. Why must Australia be so bloody huge?

Date: 2007-05-26 12:06 pm (UTC)Actually, shouldn't you be studying? *hint*
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 12:13 pm (UTC)And uh... this could... come in handy for english? Or history?
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 12:18 pm (UTC)In other words, I'm employing SSSS and telling you to study. *nods firmly*
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 12:28 pm (UTC)Look here, a unicorn (http://community.livejournal.com/comics_fanart/243918.html)! Well actually it's a spoof of this travesty (http://roar-of-comics.blogspot.com/2007/05/why-cover-for-heroes-for-hire-13-is.html) but either way I know you'll like it :P
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 12:42 pm (UTC)But oh my God, the original (second link) cover is so hot! *swoons* Yay for tits and voyeuristic red eyes and tentacle porn! *waves pom-poms enthusiastically* :D
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 12:47 pm (UTC)It's also rated "T+" which is basically "age nine and up" which is uh. what.
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 12:56 pm (UTC)So I can go to a comic store, ask to buy this and claim it as my nephew's b'day present? :P
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 01:03 pm (UTC)Yeah well if it was meant to be porn I wouldn't mind. Apart from the Bratz Doll faces and the disproportionate breasts (ohmygod ow ow ow) it'd be quite hot (okay, also apart from the tentacles. I don't know about you, but I am not down with the tentacles). I gather, though, that it's meant to be the cover for an actual, yaknow, story. About those chained up chicks apparently kicking ass, which they don't look to be in any position to do.
Thus, fail.
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 01:10 pm (UTC)Oh, is it not supposed to be porn? *epiphany* Well, then, why is it marketed as porn? *mystified once more*
Heheh, stop procrastinating, hmm? :P
Though it really is too late to do work of any sort.Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 01:14 pm (UTC)Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 01:21 pm (UTC)Anyway, who cares about invading fortresses or whatever. Hmmm... maybe the tentacle monsters were just very skilled, and took the bras off already. *ponders*
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 01:30 pm (UTC)Hang on, did I just see you attempt to assert heterosexuality? I thought you were past that phase? M'dear, asserting YOUR heterosexuality would take something along the lines of Paris Hilton's sex tape, only with a gang-bang the size of Tasmania.
....ewwww I can't believe I conceived that image. It's all your fault!
Re: awwww
Date: 2007-05-26 01:36 pm (UTC)On that note, aren't there only sheep in Tasmania... or is that New Zealand? *ponders* Wait... ignore that comment. Either way, sheep-sex = bad.
And possibly = illegal. Here, I'll go check
...
Yep, definitely illegal in Tasmania. (Tasmania Criminal Code, section 23 - c.)
Err... did you conceive one image involving me being gang-banged by Tasmanian sheep? *worried*
