1. My username is maggiebloome because my full surname is very distinctive. I googled it once, it's my dad's archive of my brother's baby photos, an obscure mathematician and some camera tech guy in St Petersburg. It's also annoying to spell (silent i, I keep telling them, it's a silent i) and long. So I just went with an alternate spelling of the suffix that I was, at the time, considering for my pen name when I became rich and famous.

2. My journal is titled Funky Headgear because I like awesome hats and scarves and headbands and things. What, I do. That's pretty much it.

3. My subtitle is lick the spoon because life is like ice cream.

4. My friends page is called "Does a tree fall in the forest?" because uh. I felt like it? I guess if I'm the tree then my flist is the forest? Or the people that need to be there to hear it otherwise it may or may not happen? Or something.

5. My default userpic is because it makes me giggle. It's based on a ficlet I wrote once for ithurtsmybrain in which Sauron and Shepherd Book have tea and chat.
