The worst thing about fevers is the way your body is so hot that everything else is freezing. So you bundle up in a bazillion blankets, and then sometime in the night your fever breaks and you wake up in a puddle of sweat cos, yaknow... you've been sleeping in a bazillion blankets.

Also it sucks to be sick on weekends, but these days it sucks just as much to miss school.

On a completely unrelated note, I think every house should be equipped with a rubber room. Full of rubber things, for throwing at walls. Or maybe things that splat satisfactorily or break without shattering into a million tiny pieces on my bedroom floor, dammit mum. When I am rich and famous I shall definitely have one.
