Today was O_O

Jason remarked that SGHS people tend to be smart at school but stupid onstreet. He was refering to my complaints that i'm totally incompetent at my job, but I extend this to everything to do with people - at least in my case, because obviouslyyou can't place the stereotype on my whole school. So I had an orthodontist appointment, yeah, to get new retainers, right? Okay. So, obviously, as if I'd go back to school after that, so I SMSed Stan as to what there is to do at Bondi Junction for a few hours. It occurrs to me now he must've been going O_o WTF? since I didn't exactly clarify (sorry, Stan :P), so anyway, he said he'd be along in an hour and meanwhile Toly would be in the vicinity. So I rang up Toly, and hung around with him as he went to get film and stuff, whereupon he said he was meeting people at Eastgardens. Through either mishearing or misunderstanding I assumed "people" included Stan, which turned out not to be the case when he called me on the bus. So anyway, "people" turned out to be Mic and Jason, and they went off to Toly's house or somewhere, something about getting a trenchcoat for Mic and going to naomi's. So I was like, man, it's 2:30, I should have stayed at Bondi Junction. So I got on the 400, and called Stan, who had meanwhile got home, which was confusing as I'd assumed he had said he'd meet me because he was at BJ anyway. And before I could get unconfused, my mobile cut out, probably due to lack of batteries, but then again UFO's could have been involved.

Anyway, I just went home. I'm still confused, but whatever, have guitar in an hour. So weigh up the day. There was all the inconvenience of getting on all sorts of buses, but then I didn't pay for them. And I didn't get to see Stan, but I saw Toly et al. So all things considered, it was better than hanging around at home, and DEFINITELY better than going back to school.

On a side note, I got rejected from Peer Support leadership cos I'm too scary.
