I've given this a lot of thought, and I feel that it's time to come out of the closet.

To all those who have been hurt by my lies, I apologise profusely - I never meant it to get this far. And to those who have begun to suspect... well, all I can say is that you are absolutely right.

Yes. I am in fact a forty-year-old Belgian man living in Canada. I have been posing as an Australian schoolgirl for the past few years as a pathetic attempt to escape my lonely existence.

lackofmendacity have been respectively paid and blackmailed into pretending to know me in RL. Don't ask me about

xs_amletx, I think they were just doing it for the lulz.

ambient_hermes actually do know me in real life - real real life, not the pseudoimaginary construct I've been displaying here. I won't reveal their true identities as it is not my place to do so, but I'd like to remind them that to live a lie is not truly to live.

I guess a lot of you have noticed the contradictions and slip-ups in this journal - well, now you know why.

Please don't bother to flame me, I won't be around to respond as I am leaving the internet, my flat and my life, such as it is, in favour of a bland medicated existence at a local psychiatric institution.
