The sweetest apple pie
My darling (die)
It's made with love

And lover you will find
That love is blind
Just take a slice

(Just try this coffin on for size)

And in the breath before your final cry
You'll catch the scent of apples and goodbye

(I really make the sweetest, bake
The sweetest apple pie)

Firstly, I hope that's not for ext. 2 english, and secondly... how adorable! (albeit a tad morbid)

It feels so poignant, and holds a tone of sad longing. You've used rhythmn really well, I must say.

Being a good friend, I feel obliged to remind you to write your proposal, despite the hypocrisy...

As a survivor of 4 unit english, I agree with these sentiments.

Which ones in particular?

The 'write your proposal' one, mostly. Don't write it half an hour before it's due (which was, of course, exactly what I did).

A heh heh heh... yeah, the thing with that is...

Of course I know what I'm doing, it's just a matter of getting it down on paper. So. It's probably fine.

So get it down on paper, then. :)

You wrote the proposal in class on the very day it was due?

...SAD LONGING!? IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE MORE KINDA HOMICIDAL PSYCHOPATHY....

But I read it and went: awwww...

And you can't deny, it's cute!! *fends off weird looks*

Well... you're... YOU. :P

You think people chained up and BLEEDING are "cute".

*defensive* I liked your poem, okay? So what if the reasons were a tad strange?

No, I think people chained up and bleeding are hot

Sorry, sorry! Just if everyone sees it as less-than-murderous then I've done it wrong, that's all.

No, no... definitely murderous, though I didn't specifically think 'chained up and bleeding'.

And in the breath before your final cry
You'll catch the scent of apples and goodbye

It's just so sweet (the sentiments) despite the, er... homicidal tendancies, I guess. (And I stand by my comment that it holds a tone of sad longing. I think the persona is regretting his/her actions so therefore it was a sweet poem. *hugs*)

I see the murderous, but it's cute psychopathy. It bakes! It apparently bakes well. Throw in some muffins and it's like a murderous Izzie Stevens.

I'll never understand all these stigmas attached to psychosis. i think there's nothing sweeter than a criminal psychopath, rocking back and forth in a padded room with a straight jacket.

I think it's incredibly sweet, Maggie.

Your friends list is hardly normal, so you can't expect the norm opinion. Those of sound mind would probably find it ironically chilling, which I'm sure is what you set out to do.

I love this poem. I am going to steal it and sell it as my own.

Psychosis and psychopathy are two completely different things. To use Firefly as an example, River is psychotic, whereas YoSaffBridge or Early show some psychopathic behaviours.

And sound minds are very much overrated.
