Yum Cha and kittens

Today my whole group was going to go to Yum Cha. But Diana bailed, citing babysitting, and the Mel bailed, citing hangover, and then Jenny completely and utterly failed to show up for no readily apparent reason and doesn't have a mobile. So it was just me and YiFan and Ruxi. I am full of prawny things, yay. We also ate chicken feet which were HUUUGE and made me imagine the chefs wrestling vicious giant mutant chickens, because... I do that.

Then I decided to read our tea leaves. Mine looked sort of like an umbrella, but we eventually decded it was a crooked potted plant. Ruxi had a dog in a deckchair (kinda like a partridge in a pear tree, but... heavier...) and Yifan ended up with a marsupial of some description dancing on a log. Does anyone know what that means? I should look it up in the Big Book of Subjective Omens In Your Beverage, but I don't think my library has it.


AND another thing! WAAAAAAW. Daily cuteness dose... exceeded... squeemeter go splodey...

I wasn't hungover, I was exhausted! Exhaustion!

I got to the city at about three, considered calling one of you but then realised you and Ruxi were at UNSW Open Day and Yi Fan was long gone. Damnit.

Ended up going to Capital and played at the crane machines and picked up lots of soft toys for a buck. Fucking awesome. <3

Meh. Ethiopian guy was pretty cute... But I don't think he was Ethiopian. I think he was American, but lived in a mud shack in Ethiopia. Don't ask why.

Oh for chrissake! The Italian neighbours next door are having a battle to see who can shout the most. Gah!
