Carbon Burns Fresh Particularly Must
Jul. 6th, 2006 11:02 pmAnna is back in Australia for her yearly visit. So of course there was a General Gathering (actually, Avi had to prod Alex a bit to get her to organise it). Nothing unusual, except that Alex and Toly...
..organised a raffle. Yes, a raffle. They somehow coerced everyone into giving them two dollars and then drew names out of a hat.
The prizes probably weren't worth two dollars - the laughs, however, were. Observe:
Third prize: won by Andrew, who had by that point buggered off to Bondi for kebabs, and thus did not recieve it.

WELCOME TO DEGUSTATION. It also says "NEW STYLE TOYS!"
Second prize: won by Pavel. Most. Appropriate. Prize. EVER. We took one look at him standing there holding it and all burst out laughing.

Handsome appearance! Fashionable colour! Luster Surface! The last picture is instructions for making it glow. It says, and I swear I couldn't make this stuff up, "insert" and "twist".
...BWAHAHAHAHA.
Speaking of Pavel, a little interlude: when I was at Netzer summer camp (you know, the one I was going to eljay but never did?) I met this blonde girl called Sophie who said she had a bunch of Russian friends. So we were talking about Russian people, and I mentioned Pavel's name.
Sophie: My brother went out with a Russian guy called Pavel once.
Me: Is he-
All together now: really really really tall? ... ... O.O ohmigod.
So this week at Liza's 18th was the first time I've seen Pasha since then, and I remembered and asked him if he'd ever gone out with someone called Marcus.
Pavel: *blink* ...how much do you know?!
Me: ...what? Okay, now I'm curious.
And finally!
First Prize: won by Val. *gigglesnort*

It glows, too! And a little thingy on the handle spins and beeps. we called him Faulty Sailor Moon, and Liza got jealous.
