Yes, but when you say "lovely" you mean "American".

I spent less than a month in the USA, so in this case it's not so much "lovely" as "inexplicable".

American...? I thought you lived in Australia. Wouldn't that make it an Australian accent? That's what I thought I detected, anyway, though I admit my experience with the accent is limited to the blonde lad (whose name I've forgotten) from House MD and that awful Wolf Creek. I won't mention Crocodile Dundee, as I'm told that that is a sure way to start a fight when one finds himself in the company of...Aussies? Ozzies? Those who live in Australia.

And when I said "lovely" I meant "lovely." I think the Australian accent falls into my top three, along with Scottish and Irish brogues. I'm unlucky enough to be surrounded by one of the most horrifying accents on the planet on a daily basis, so it doesn't take all that much to make me swoon.

It occurs to me that this particular series of comments makes me appear slightly creepy and stalker-ish. Not my intent, I assure you.

(Oh, and Claire from Lost.)

Oh, okay. Well, that's a change XP everyone always tells me I have an American accent.

Its reassuring that the Americans disagree!
