lower_tadfielders, they always know their cues.
*As of today, I am betrenchcoated. I do not care if that is not a word. I have a trench coat and I am happy. It's not a particularly classical trenchcoat, but it is long and it has cool buttons and squee.
*I am eternally indebted to Alyce at work for providing me with panadol, as my period is pastede on yey, and now i ded of cramp.
*A major source of amusement at said place of employment today: The local department store that puts pannequins on display around Eastgardens has come up with new gimmick. They've replaced some of the mannequins with real people. It's very clever. They stand quite still, so at first glance you don't realise, or if you do - well, you always mistake the mannequins fo people anyway, right? But then suddenly you see them blink, or move their hand to a different position. And you do a double take. And they're still again. And you're like "...O.o" ??? We were shitting ourselves laughing at the people coming down the escalator. We'd be all "Oh, that one's about to get it... oooh he got it!"
*Went to Noodle Boy with Stan and Liza and Laivi on Friday night. Then we hung out in Liza's car until Laivi got cranky and stormed off. We ended up back at his house though, via Sasha and Val. Some conversations:
Liza: So then Elaine was going off at emma and I was all like-
Stan: Do you envy the freedom of birds?
Liza: ...what?
Stan: *waves leetle fortune cookie*
Liza: Miaow.
Me: Miaow?
Liza: Miaow!
Stan: Baa!
...
Stan: Wouldn't it be cool if there was this cat. And it would go "miaow." Except sometimes, when you're not looking, it would just go "Baa". And you'd look at it and it would go "miaow?" and you'd be all like... whoah mindfuck kitty.
Later, me and Liza built a nest. Also attempted entry into Leg Olympics with Val. This consisted of sitting on stools with Val holding liza's leg, and my legs on top of hers, and the Val trying to get his leg on top, and then all of us falling over.
*All you Firefly fans, go tofireflicons. Most of the people voting are the people who made the icon! And we're not allowed to vote for our own, but still, that doesn't make for much voting pool diversity. Go! Vote! Make icons if you feel like it! If nothing else, you get to see people's icons before they have enough to post to another icon community. There's also firefly_stills but it's going through a ded phase right now. If you wanna help revive it, MAKE ICONS.
