Okay, so it's been another ~omgweek~ and tomorrow I shall make a long post about it. Meanwhile, have another mix! This time somewhat better organised than the last one - I think I will go back and put that one on 8tracks and edit the post with my commentary as well.

This one is for eldabe's Lian Harper fix-it fic, Don't Tell Me Not To Fly. Read it here!

Make sure the volume level isn't defaulting too low as a couple of the songs are a bit quiet. Stock for the album art came from here and um... someone called Loot Ninja via google image search :P I got the volcano and the rainforest from the last one both off of google as well, like news articles and stuff.

1. Like... Alaska - Seventeen. First thing I thought of when I read the opening :)

2. Big Rude Jake - Gotham City Serenade. Pretty much had to include this.

3. The Used - Wake The Dead. I mean technically I guess this song is about zombies as a metaphor for something, but you know, it fits :P

4. Bell - Brown Bear. This entire song is perfect for Cerdian.

7. Conor Oberst - Cape Canaveral. Lots of little bits of this song recombine in ways they weren't supposed to to fit the bit with Roy and lian on the reservation.

And now that I've officially put up the post, I just want to come here and officially say that this mix is fantastic. I just keep listening to the songs and reading the lyrics and finding new ways that it is absolutely perfect. Each of them make me totally happy in different way and I am so thrilled that you put these together!!

And the album artwork is also awesome.

Wow! amazing fanmix and a great complement to the story. I love the cover art you chose, and the song choices are excellent - I am especially digging "Rabbit Heart" by Florence + the machine, which may just have become my mental Lian theme tune.
