(no subject)

Today I got up at seven am for an exam that turned out to start at one. I trudged into school in the pouring rain only to discover that I was working from the wrong draft of our exam timetable. So I ended up wasting time on the school computers and reading my notes while half-listening to various classmates gossip about Paris Hilton. The actual exam went quite well though, I feel very confident. Unfortunately the last time I felt this confident I didn't do that spectacularly well, but I suppose I shall have to wait and see.

It was a very clumsy day - I'm not the most coordinated human being in the universe on any day, I break out in grace the way other people get hiccups, but today I really outdid myself. Maybe it was all the wrestling with my umbrella in the rain that I had to do, but I was dropping things (like half-eaten chicken burgers *facepalm* I wanted that dammit!) all over the place. Also I had a bizarre moment of phantom ug boos. I've been wearing them round the house to keep my feet warm, and at school, in my school shoes, i suddenly felt like my feet were in the ugg boots and had to check.

The Duck is peeling - I can't really call it th duck anymore now that the head and tail have faded, so I shall have to call it the scald-mark-courtesy-of-hot-tea which is not nearly as catchy. Anyway it's peeling like sunburn and is just as fun to pick at.

Lastly, I linked ambient_hermes to an awesome Hannibal rising music video and neither of us can now remember the eljayer who posted it or the eljayer who linked me to it or the name of the song or anything, and it isn't in either of our history or logs, for some reason. All is remember is there was a teaser outside the lj-cut of the bit where he licks the blood off his hand, guh. Bu I probably got it off someone on my flist, so if it was you, plz link?
