Why oh why oh why, etc,
Is livejournal pink?
Do school photos consistently turn out shit?
In the world would somebody steal the lid off my mug, only to return it several months later with the slidey bit all jammed up with glue?
Yrs sincerely,
Maggie.
Happy Valentines Day to everyone, and happy Anti Valentines Day to everyone else. There are rather shabby roses floating around the school but mercifully we have been spared the ignominy of serenades. Mel wrote cute valentine greetings for everyone... well, mine consisted mostly of "stay off the crack," very thoughtful of you, Melissa, but they were still cute.
The weirdest thing happened to me today! I got to school early for school photos, and after paying for a drama excursion, I was accosted by Dr Vazza, who got my name wrong and announced that a package had arrivecd for me at her office.
"Wha?" Says I.
"Are you doing an outside course?" Enquires she.
"Noooooot that I know of?" Says I, befuddled.
Turns out! It's the randomest of possible things, my year six yearbook. What the!? I now remember that I lost it on the last day of school, but it's quite odd that it took somebody's mother five years to get around to posting it to me.
It contains a photograph that is less embarrassing now that I no longer resemble it at all, and a poem about the holocaust (mandatory, Jewish school) that is more embarrassing now that I've improved (SO VERY MUCH) at poetry. These were perused by my entire drama class, to my great humiliation. Well, it wasn't that great. Actually, given that the comparison is a the like of small comics that go "all the jews were taken to concentration camps the end" it's not so embarrassing after all.
