I am reminded that I have yet another camp anecdote left untold.

Our setting is the big white coach on the way back to school. Beside me is Nicky, headphones in, bobbing slightly. In my lap (well, resting on the seat between my knees) is the guitar which I am damn well not putting in the luggage compartment, and which I am attempting to play at an uncomfortable angle, which sort of works for everything but bar chords. The coach is almost done crossing a bridge, possibly The Bridge, I was not paying attention. I happen to glance up out of the window and what should catch my eye, but:

A SIGN. Yes, I know 06/06/06 has passed. This was a paper sign in a poky little window on a vaguely oblong wall which basically consisted of windows. The sign said:

ONE WAY JESUS

I took a double take. But then we were gone, and I was left blinking, scratching my head and going "...did anyone else see that? I mean... what? As opposed to two way Jesus? Can you be excommunicated for going the wrong way down a one way Jesus? What?"
