I have discovered the joy that is www.b3ta.com and ninja kittens. Wheee! I have so much more respect for Britain now.

A further installment in the Random Bus People series: A guy was talking to an Eastern European woman behind me on the bus this morning. I never saw either of their faces. He wants to get an apprenticeship as a landscape gardener, and move down the coast with his fiance. They're getting married in two years. They recently went on holiday to Tahiti, where the people are really, really friendly, and some guy he had beer with gave him black pearls. So Gardener gave him some paracetamol and stuff that's horribly expensive there. And then last week the pearls got stolen - someone broke into their house. They also took some foreign banknotes that aren't really worth anything but have sentimental value. The police took fingerprints and reckon it was a bunch of kids, eleven or twelve yearolds, so they can't touch them. Another reason to move.
