Jan. 27th, 2005 01:48 pmThe sea is beautiful. It truly is.
My mum dragged me out for a family Australia Day outing yesterday, and I sat on the steps at Maroubra beach while they did baby stuff, and it really was so beautiful.
Then we went to the Feigin's around 8:30 for, like, tea and stuff. I talked to Alex about the pointlessness of tennis as a spectator sport. Around nine we all went onto the balcony but fireworks were sadly invisible. We did, however, see weird white lights in the clouds, as though someone was shining a torch at smoke. I stand by my UFO judgement.
I can't wait for summer to end, the heat is tedium and sweat. Bring on the rain!
