Politicians and cockatoos.

bliumchikCircus Oz was t3h cool. I especially liked the bit where the acrobats were in grey suits, and they did all their stuff while someone in the background was saying things like "MrSpeaker, I have to object, Mr Speaker, as I have said before, no, I disagree with this, Mr Speaker," etc. Tying in with eg the acrobats standing on each others heads on one leg while the voice goes "The speaker hasn't got a leg to stand on" and stuff like that.
The show began with a clown walking on the ceiling, shortly followed by fire-eaters (at least they kept us warm) and people hanging off poles. During the interval nicky and i went outside but she complained about the glare, and the weather, and the lack of things to buy, and everything, so we just went back inside again to watch the muscly guys setting up the mats and swings and other acrobatic equipment. About five minutes later this eqiupment was in use by people dressed as cockatoos, who were slightly more amusing because they wrecked the equipment. On purpose, obviously.
There was also a double jointed dude who fit his entire body through two de-stringed tennis rackets. Eww. The nose and the nipples are not bits you would want to watch again. Just... owwwww.
The chick with the ribbons was pretty. And the clowns were amusing. And afterwards Nicky's parents and mine had one of those Mutual Parenthood chats while we watched my brother demolish a garden chair and then Nicky attempted to work out how to warp text in Gimp. Resistance, however, was futile. So we played Kensington, which is kind of like chinese checkers, except we made up all the rules because i havent played that game for years. And then she killed off my Sims families, although obviously not saved :P she's just sadistic.
ONE day of freedom left before school...
